The Living Wage campaign applies to ALL workers for the City of Bloomington and its subcontracted workers. Some of the workers (and our fellow citizens and neighbors) who would benefit from Living Wage include: School crossing guards, City Hall janitors, many garbage collection workers, swimming pool lifeguards, summer golf course maintenance workers, and employees at the U.S. Cellular Coliseum. This campaign would only apply to public sector workers who work for the citizens of Bloomington, and for whom we employ through our tax dollars. It does not apply to the private sector.
