Volunteers Wanted!

CIOP’s Living Wage campaign is up and running.  We have had two days of canvassing over the past two weeks, which got us around 300 petition signatures.  Thanks a ton to everyone who came out!  Right now we have around 500 petition signatures, which is great, but we still need more than 3000 more by mid-August.  We cannot do it alone.

We are looking for individuals of all ages to help us make this happen.  You must be over 18 to gather petition signatures though.  Volunteers can engage in a variety of activities depending on how much time and effort they are willing to commit.  If you want more information, or want to get started helping end poverty in Bloomington right away, contact either Tyler or Emily at (309) 827-9627, or e-mail Livingwage@comcast.net.  Keep checking this site for project updates and upcoming events/canvass days!!!
